the mauveHAUS rules

These services exist so we can do our own thing without big tech sitting in the middle of it. That only works if we look out for each other.

1. Don't be a dick. The original rule, still the main one. Treat people the way you'd want to be treated if the roles were flipped.
2. Other people's data isn't yours. Don't share it, don't scrape it, don't go looking for it. What people post here, they posted here — not for you to drag somewhere else.
3. Don't bring the cops to the door. No illegal shit, no piracy, no harassment campaigns, nothing that's going to land an abuse complaint in my inbox. I host this stuff. You burn it, we all lose it.
4. Don't be a leech. These services run on my hardware, my bandwidth, and my time. Use them, enjoy them, but don't abuse them — no spam, no scraping, no running your side hustle on my back.
5. If something's broken or sketchy, say something. I'd rather hear about a problem from you than find out later. Same goes for someone else acting wrong — quiet bystanding doesn't help anyone.
